Special General Meeting...
At a Special General Meeting on Wednesday 11th November 2009, members voted overwhelmingly in favour of a proposal to transfer the Society’s engagements to the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Manchester Unity Friendly Society, more generally known simply as “The Oddfellows”.
All being well, the transfer will be completed on 30th December 2009. But there is nothing the Nottingham members need to do ; all the arrangements are being handled by The Oddfellows, who will be writing to the Nottingham members early next year.
